To whom it may concern: MiniDV capture using the FireWire to Thunderbolt adapter in QuickTime Player still works in macOS Sequoia, using the same "legacy camera plugins" option as in Sonoma https://support.apple.com/en-us/108387
I'm always worried they're going to kill legacy features like this with every update.
