There is a park in our city with a space theme (there's a big rocket to climb up etc)

They also have these panels showing how VLBI (Very Long Baseline Interferometry) works, including how in order to compare the signals from different dishes, they are recorded to tape which is sent by plane to the central computer...

Edit: doing some research online, apparently the satellite dish was actually stood in this park from 1992 until 2018
