SaveClipBoard is a simple script which takes the text from the
clipboard and saves it to a text file. You can keep addin "clippings" to
this text file without overwriting the previous contents. If you are
going through a web page, or other document, and want to save snippets of
information (text only) such as URL's, dates, or whatever turns you on,
just copy the text to the clipboard, and run this script. In v1.4 you
can opt to start the saved text clipping with a date/time stamp and end
the clipping with a divider line as in this example:

-------------------------

The time/date stamp and the divider line are optional, and you can
have either of these options turned on, or both, or neither. This gives
you the most flexibility in how the saved clippings are formatted. You
must set these options (as well as your target text file) the first time
you run SaveClipboard, and you can always change these options by
launching SaveClipboard with the Option key down. You will be presented
with a series of option dialogs where you can configure your preferences.

System requirements:
1. Applescript must be installed on your system. This is a standard
part of the MacOS these days, so it should be installed if you are
running any version of System 7.5 or higher. Most of the script relies on
the standard scripting additions installed with AppleScript.
2. You must have Jon¹s Commands installed. Jon¹s Commands is
available from Info-Mac archives or from Jon Pugh¹s page at
http://www.seanet.com/~jonpugh/
