You'd think that after what happened to him in The Tower, Jake would have the
sense to stay home and curl up with a good book. But it isn't long before
he's off again, heading east to check out (you and I would say "loot", or
perhaps "plunder") the Sultan's palace. The palace, unlike the Tower, has
many occupants, some of them human, some not... so youre not really surprised
when Jake doesn't show up at the marketplace where you'd arranged to meet him.
