FREEVERSE SOFTWARE RELEASES "BURNING MONKEY SOLITAIRE"
SANTA APPALLED

NEW YORK- The engineers at Freeverse Software, after months of research have
made a startling discovery in their quest for the perfect Mac game. Although the
solitaire variant Klondike has long been acknowledged as the most popular and
addictive game in history, it was still thought to be missing something.
Something...furry. In a burst of revelation, lead engineer Dr. Droppa Mapantz saw
that what solitaire was missing was quite simply, monkeys! Dr. Mapantz and his
team set to work to remedy that flaw immediately. The result? Burning Monkey
Solitaire.

Set in a simian cinema, (showing the film Hairy McGuire), Burning Monkey
Solitaire features gorgeous graphics in thousands of colors, obnoxious monkey
sounds, different decks of cards, the world's most extensive cheat mode, rhesus
pieces at the snack bar, a new vocal atrocity from your atonal amigo, JARED: The
Butcher of Song, and more!

Monkeys aside, this really is the best version of Klondike ever made. (You can
even turn off all of the monkey antics if you¹re not in a primate kind of mood).

Burning Monkey Solitaire is US$14.95 shareware and $24.95 for a CD-Rom version.
It is available from WWW.FREEVERSE.COM or wherever scary shareware is found. It
is available in two versions; a "large" for PowerPC Macs capable of thousands of
colors, and a "small" version for older machines.

Freeverse Software is a leading developer and publisher of shareware
computer games for the Macintosh and PC. Freeverse is the recipient of
numerous industry awards, most recently the 1997 Ziff/Davis MacUser
Shareware Award for their game, Enigma. Other games from Freeverse
include the shareware classic, Hearts Deluxe, The Eclipse,
X-Words Deluxe, and CrossCards.
