PegLeg is an action game in the grandest tradition. With your hands at the controls of the Mach Z Battalion Blaster, a space craft designed to help you defend the earth from wave after wave of vicious alien pirates, you must battle alone. Your only goal is to survive against mounting odds.
PegLeg is designed to appeal to all players, from arcade neophytes to veteran gamers. The game offers three levels of difficulty: the slow mode allows you time to develop a familiarity with the controls; medium gives you a more challenging pace; and fast taxes your reflex to their utmost. A word of warning PP Double Speed is, well, fast, particularly on a Power Macintosh. PegLeg will, however, play full screen in 256 colors on any size monitor, giving you plenty of room to run, while still giving you a thoroughly adrenaline-pumping experience.

% 8-bit (256) 256 Color or grayscale graphics capability.
% 68020 or better Macintosh (Runs NATIVE on Power Macintosh!)
% Supports any screen size and three play speeds.
% System 6.0.7 or later.
% 1.9 MB of free RAM. (Minimum memory partition is 2 megs. This is fine for 13" screens. On larger monitors more RAM may be necessary for full-screen play.)
% Hard Disk with at least 2.1 MB free.
% Sound Manager 3.0 (or later) is recommended, but not required.
Notes:
Changes from versions 1.0 and 1.0.1 to 1.0.3 include the addition of self-playing capability, and a demo mode that will begin after 1 minute of idle time, cycle through each of the information screens, then play out 1 level of the game. Changes from 1.0.3 to 1.0.5 include the elimination of a screen redraw problem caused by a bug in the PDS video cards found on some PowerMacs.
The self-play mode can also be initiated by depressing Cmd-Shift-D.
