Welcome to SpeechFX. This software is designed to make the Speech Recognition
software on your computer more useful. When Apple developed Speech Recognition,
they created a software package with a lot of potential. The only thing it
lacked was commands. Speech Recognition as Apple distributes it does not include
very many commands. The commands that they do include are very crude and were
designed just to show the potential of the software. They are not very useful to
the average user. SpeechFX is a continuing project to create much needed commands
for Speech Recognition. The commands that are available in this release are:

About this Computer -- Opens "About this Computer" window
Connect To -- Go to a specific place on the web
Duplicate -- Duplicate a File
Get Info -- Opens "Get Info" Window
Get My Calculator -- Opens Calculator
Help Me -- Launches Help System (Mac OS 8.5 and later)
Launch Web Browser -- Launches Web Browser
Mantain Connection -- Launches Keep Me Online (Keep Me Online Users Only)
Max Volume -- Turns Volume up to Max
Mute Volume -- Mutes Volume
New Folder -- Creates a new folder
Normal Volume -- Turns Volume to a "Normal Level"
Open Email -- Opens email client
Open Extensions Manager -- Opens Extensions Manager
Open Key Caps -- Opens Key Caps
Open Stickies -- Opens Stickies
Open -- Opens selection
Print -- Prints Document
Register -- Registers SpeechFX
Restart -- Restarts
Search -- Opens Sherlock (Mac OS 8.5 and Later)
Set Monitor to 256 colors -- Sets Monitor to 256 Colors
Set Monitor to Thousands -- Sets Monitor to Thousands of Colors
Set Monitor to Millions -- Sets Monitor to Millions of Colors
Show Clipboard -- Opens Clipboard
