7Tuner is an application that modifies certain resources in your System,
Finder, and/or system enablers to change the appearances and
functionalities of your System 7. Since all changes are modified directly
in your system software, the changes do not require extra system memory to
function and remain available even all extensions are turned off. Version
2.0.9 supports Mac(tm)OS System 7.0 to 7.6.1, 68K, Power Macintosh, and
MacOS-compatible.
7Tuner 2.0.9 includes 7 options:
*** Finder Shortcuts ***
Set all possible command key combinations for Finder's menus (total of 36
menu items with 47 different keys).
*** 3D System Folders ***
Change System's default folder icons, such as System Folder, Control
Panels, and so on. 7Tuner 3D folder and Copland style folder files are
included.
*** Color System Icons ***
Change System's default icons, such as alert box icons, Trash cans, and
many others. 7Tuner icon and Copland style icon files are included.
*** Finder Tuner ***
Activate or deactivate Finder's zooming rectangle effect, rename delay, and
keyboard menu. Change suffixes of new folder, copy, and alias. Change the
font style of alias names.
*** Identifications ***
Change the machine name and icon that appear in the Finder's "About This
Macintosh" window, and change the menu name of Finder's "About This
Macintosh" to anything you like. (In MacOS System 7.6 or later, "About This
Mac(tm)OS Computer..." is displayed)
*** Color Tuner ***
Change colors of menu bar, menu item, and window background.
*** Cursor Tuner ***
Change animated cursor and I-beam cursor.
Version 2.0.9 features automatic duplication and swap of system files,
customization of all options, help text, Balloon Help, and auto recovery.
