Easy Open is an elegant way to access your favourite applications from within the contextual menu of the finder. Imagine the following scenario : You just received an document from your friend or business partner via e - mail. Let's assume it's an Microsoft Word document. If you double click on it your Macintosh will start MS Office, but perhaps you're favourite business application is Apple Works. You would now drag & drop the document on Apple Works and it will open the document, but you'll always have to drag & drop the document on Apple Works if you want to open it again. Easy Open has got the solution for you. You simply control - click on the document and select "Set default application to - Apple Works". Now you can double click on the document and it will always open with Apple Works.
In order for this to work you have first to create a list of your favourite applications. You can do this either by control - clicking on an application and selecting "Add application to list" or you can use the comfortable "Easy Open settings" control panel. You cant sort the applications into different submenus, so that e.g. "Apple Works" is in the submenu "Business applications".

FileHierToClipCMPlugin checks if the contextual menu was invoked on a file

Just copy your URL ending fragment to clipboard and control-click on desktop

reason to do so.

What is Speak Text CM?
Have you ever wanted your computer to read your e-mail to you? Have
you noticed that reading a paper out loud helps to find mistakes?
Speak Text CM will speak the selected text in any program. Speak Text
CM and Speak Text Engine are not INITs, but are a Contextual Menu

conflicts.

Trygve's CMM Plug-Ins 2.0.1
These are plug-ins for the MacOS 8 Contextual Menu Manager (PowerPC
only). When you control-click on items in the Finder, a contextual menu
appears, and these plug-ins add new commands to the menu that operate on
the files and folders you clicked.
Version 2.0 simplified the menu organization and added new plug-ins.
Version 2.0.1 fixes a recoverable hang that would occur under certain
conditions.
Here are the plug-ins in this version:
- Convert Text - Converts the selected text files' line endings to Mac,
DOS, or Unix format.
- Cut / Copy / Paste File - Lets you treat files and folders as objects
that can be cut, copied, and pasted.
- Hide / Undo Hide / Show - Hides the selected files and folders. The
previous Hide can be undone. Also lets you show all hidden items in a
folder.
- Lift and Set File Info - Lets you set files' creators and/or types to
the those of other files.
- Lock / Unlock - Locks or unlocks the selected files. Depending on your
access privileges and particular file server capabilities, you can also
lock and unlock folders on a file server.
- Move / Copy / Alias - Lets you move or copy the selected files and
folders to the chosen destination folder or disk. Also lets you make an
alias of the selected items in the destination folder or disk.
- Open With - Lets you open the selected files with the chosen
application.
- Remove Custom Icon - Removes custom icons from the selected files and
folders.
- Set File Info - Sets the selected files' creator and/or type from a
list of choices that you configure by placing files and aliases in the
settings folders.
- Simple Strip HTML - Removes all HTML tags from the selected HTML text
files.
- Touch - Sets the selected files' and folders' modification date to
"now".

TypePopper is a lean, robust, and easy to use Contextual Menu Plugin
with a single focus: To help you easily change type and creator codes
of files with just one click.
I wrote TypePopper because I couldn't find a small and simple utility
to do what it does as easily. Let us know what you think!
1. Copy Type and Creator codes from one file and Paste them onto another.
2. Change types and creators of multiple files at once!
3. Modify and Add default menu items with ResEdit.
4. Modifications to TypePopper's resource fork take effect without a restart!
5. Copy a bunch of type and creator codes to the clipboard as text.
They're even tab delimited so you can paste them right into your
spreadsheet!
6. Special "Safety Menu" helps you avoid mistakes!
7. Change ReadMe files to read/write in one click, and back again in another!
