We now live a 15 minute walk from the hardware store so I walked there to buy a garden hose. I was also looking for short (~20cm) C13 mains cables in the electrical aisle when I found something I never noticed in the decade I've been shopping here -
They have an aisle of electronics components! Individually-packed capacitors, 74-series logic chips, transistors, resistors, zener diodes, potentiometers, all kinds of goodies! This will come in so handy...
(never found any C13 cables)
