This is the "emergency vintage Mac rig" I pulled together in order to rush TalkCrawler out the door in time for MARCHintosh . All of the development was done in this position (well, some was done in bed), giving me a back ache in the process.

Today I'm finally going to take the time to upgrade my setup to something more sustainable, maybe if I do that, I can start on my GlobalTalk Chat rewrite project!

A PowerBook G3 Lombard with a pink puck mouse A PowerBook 540c is seen in the background Off the the left, on a shaky camping table, an iMac G4 can be spotted

Looking much better! So much screen real-estate, and I had forgotten how crazy fast the G4 is!

The PowerBook in the background is the GlobalTalk router.

A PowerMac G4 QuickSilver sits on the floor, on the desk is a “huge” 22” wide screen Cinema Display

I want to use an older Apple ADB keyboard here instead of this generic ELECOM keyboard but MacOS 9 doesn't like my ADB Wombat. It looks like there's a firmware update that fixes it that I need to install

ERGONOMIC

Probably won't stick to this keyboard since I forsee getting tripped up by the Swedish layout which I haven't used in decades.

I also tried my Japanese Keyboard II but it seems like the up arrow and right shift are dead on it, I guess I will have to open it up

An Apple Adjustable Keyboard that has been split apart
