I keep seeing debates online about how Auto Start-Stop systems are the devil and will destroy your starter and kill your battery, which is very different from my experience.
In my car, the restarts after an auto-stop are completely different from a "cold start", much milder and quicker, almost as if the engine was "paused" rather than "stopped".
I've finally recorded a video showing the difference. Anyone out there who hates auto start-stop, does your car do it differently?
