PixxxGrabber is a simple but effective web media browser with a powerful
option to download multiple files with a single mouse click.
PixxxGrabber does not cache any data. It simply does not need to, since
it only downloads the HTML-coded part of the web page, subsequently
looks for all the links that originate from the page and organizes them
in sections:
- Links to (other) Web Pages:
Here you can find all the links to browse trough the site(s). A
'Preview' button looks for the actual content behind each link.
- Large Images:
This section displays all the links that refer to images that are linked
to from the web page. In most cases, these are large sized images.
- Thumbnail Images:
This section displays all the links that refer to images that are
displayed on the web page itself; in most cases banners and thumbnail
pictures.
Every section is easily accessed through tabs. Note that the links to
the files all have checkboxes. All the links to large picture files are
checked by default. Check the files that you intend to download.
Clicking the "Download Checked Items" button below the file lists
displays a download options dialog, where you to specify where you wish
to save the downloaded files:
- To a directory you select on your hard drive.
- To an encrypted PixxxSafe Series (.pxs) file.
- To the PixxxSafe Series currently selected in PixxxSafe.
